Calibrachoa Not Blooming? The Real Causes, in Order

A calibrachoa that flowered nonstop and then quit usually has one of four causes, and they are not equally likely or equally fixable. Not enough direct sun is the most common and the one fertilizer cannot solve. After that: underfeeding, made worse if your water is alkaline and locks out iron; a pot the roots have completely filled; and, less often, simple cool-weather slowdown at either end of the season. Deadheading is not on this list, because calibrachoa is self-cleaning and does not need it.
